Animal Health Camp conducted at Lipu Namchi Village of West Siang District by ICAR AP Center Basar
One day awareness cum animal health camp was conducted at Lipu Namchi village, West Siang district Arunachal Pradesh on 19th of July 2016 by staff ICAR AP Centre Basar under TSP programme. Around 30 farmers from the village attended the programme. Various lectures on common disease of livestock and poultry were delivered by coordinator Dr. Doni Jini Scientist (Veterinary extension) and Dr. Bali Yomgam (T-3), Animal science of ICAR AP center Basar. After the lectures focused group discussion cum interaction was done thoroughly in various aspects particularly in diseases and production. Followed by distribution of medicines, feed additives, first Aid items to the farmers. Diagnostic field visit was done where sick animals were attended and necessary measures were suggested based on clinical signs and symptoms.
The farmers appreciated the effort done by ICAR AP Centre Basar and requested for such activities in near future.
